Where can I get the under-hood light for a 1998 Jeep Wrangler Sport?

I’m not lost without it, but it’s just one of those things that if I knew where I could buy it I’d get one. I’ve tried local auto-parts stores but none of them are able to order it.

Just to clarify, I’m talking about the small rectangular plastic box with a bulb inside and a small weight that slides to turn the light on and off when the hood is raised and lowered respectively.

I think I saw one in the Quadratec catalogue
You could also try a local junkyard.
You can try asking at your local auto parts store, they may have something.

It is more than likely a “dealer only part”.
